Faculty / Staff Dining Room
Located in the Danna Center, our sophisticated faculty and staff dining room awaits you. Our daily buffet features a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, regional and seasonal specialties created from the freshest local and seasonal ingredients available, including Louisiana seafood, fruits and vegetables. Each day our chefs prepare a hot soup, selection of fresh salads, hot entrees including a vegetarian option, along with a selection of fresh fruit and desserts.
The dining room has the ambiance of a New Orleans Country Club with rich wood, brass chandeliers and parquet wood flooring. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Danna Center Courtyard provide excellent views of the lush greenery.
Our buffet price is $7.00 and includes the full buffet, dessert and choice of beverage. We accept credit cards, cash and departmental charges. To sign up for a meal plan, please contact Human Resources at 504-864-7757.
The menu is emailed to the Faculty-Staff digest weekly. To have the menu emailed to your inbox, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reservations are recommended for parties of 5 or more. Please contact us by 10:00 am for lunch reservations. Reservations are not taken on Fridays.
The Senior Commons Dining Room is available for special events including receptions and dinners. The room accommodates 55 guests for a seated dinner and 70 for receptions. For event reservations please call or email us for availability.
